Before joining the firm in 2010, Dave served as Executive Vice President at Retirement Capital Group, tax and auditing accountant for KPMG Peat Marwick, EVP and head of West Coast operations for AXA Advisors’ Executive Benefits Group, specializing in mid-sized companies.
Throughout his admirable career, he has continued to deepen his expertise with a wide range of certifications: CPA (inactive), CFP, CLU, ChFC, and he holds his Series 6, 7, 63, 65 and 24 securities licenses. David’s alma mater is the University of Delaware, where he earned a B.S. in Accounting and, later, Widener University in Philadelphia, where he studied for his Master’s degree in Taxation. He is a prolific writer on industry issues, and the past chair of numerous civic organizations. David resides in Coronado, California with his wife Linda. When not scuba diving or skiing, the family enjoys the foothills of Tuscany or rain forests of Costa Rica.
