As a regional director for Dimensional Fund Advisors, Chris works closely with advisors in northern California. In this role, he educates advisors on capital markets research, assists in communicating investment concepts, and consults on portfolio construction and practice management issues. Prior to joining Dimensional, Chris worked in risk management for Western Asset Management, an institutional fixed income manager. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Villanova University, where he was also a member of the men's soccer team. He is currently studying for the CFA designation.
Leonard is a principal of Nicholas Pension Consultants and responsible for installing in excess of one hundred plans per year and presenting educational seminars for CPA’s and investments advisors in Northern California. After graduating from Chico State with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences, he spent the subsequent 15 years as a regional director of sales and marketing, managing five branches and servicing several hundred clients in all the states west of the Mississippi. Leonard is an avid runner and recently climbed Mount Shasta. He resides in Lafayette with his wife and two children.
