Joe Eleccion has enjoyed a successful career in the financial services industry for over 20 years in roles ranging from financial advisor, to product development and sales management professional. Joe is a Senior Vice President and Retirement Sales Specialist for Allianz Global Investors, and responsible for a ten state territory stretching from Hawaii to Arizona, providing retirement plan investment support for financial advisors, consultants and their clients within the DB/DC/NQDC markets. Prior to joining Allianz Global Investors, Joe was the Director and Divisional Sales Manager for Merrill Lynch Retirement Group in the Western United States. He also ran the Retail Retirement Products Group at Charles Schwab & Co. responsible for product development and field education for corporate, nonprofit and individual retirement plans. Joe also spent several successful years as an ERISA-focused financial advisor at Dean Witter and Kemper Securities.
As part of the Allianz team, Joe is a part of the Certified Behavioral Finance Auditor (CBFA) program which is designed to improve outcomes for 401(k) plans and participants through the use of academically-backed behavioral finance principles and strategies. Joe received a B.A. from California State University Hayward and holds multiple financial services and retirement focused designations including FINRA/NASD Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses, FINRA/NASD Series 24 (General Securities Principal), College for Financial Planning Certified Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation and American Bankers Association Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP). Joe is a certified USA Hockey Coach and also served in the U.S. Navy (Naval Air Training Command)
David is a Relationship Manager in the Individual and Institutional Services division of TIAA-CREF. He is located in San Francisco and has primary responsibility for all aspects of relationships with many of his firm’s Bay Area clients. To assure clients are served properly, he works closely with colleagues to produce & deliver financial education to individual participants and to maintain efficient processes for enrollment and distributions. He also works closely with clients and their external advisors to make certain plans are focused on participant outcomes, meet the business goals of employers, and operate within the bounds of current and future regulations.
Before his current role with TIAA-CREF, David spent eight years as a Manager with a competing retirement provider specializing in the non-profit community. David is approaching 15 years of service with TIAA-CREF and has over 25 years of service in the financial services industry. In addition to his Bachelor's Degree in Government from the University of San Francisco, he is completing work on attaining his graduate degree in Teaching Administration. He holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations.
Brenda Van is a MassMutual Retirement Services Managing Director, Western Regional Non-Profit Market Leader. Brenda serves the ERISA 403(b) Western region retirement plan market on behalf of MassMutual’s Retirement Services Division based in Springfield, Massachusetts. In this role, she supports hospitals and healthcare organizations, private education, associations and other 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.
Prior to joining MassMutual, Brenda spent over 22 years with Fidelity Investments. She served as a Fidelity Vice President, SW Regional Manager of non-profit sales in healthcare, higher education, and other tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations. Brenda has extensive experience in the healthcare, education, and core non-profit markets. She is a recognized industry leader in assessing and serving the retirement plan needs of the tax exempt, non-profit community.
